Sunday, Jan. 5 – Saturday, Jan. 11

INGLESIDE, San Francisco — The greater Ingleside neighborhood is patrolled by both Taraval and Ingleside Police Stations. The following is drawn from station crime blotters and does not include all reported incidents.

Sunday, Jan. 5, 2020

A white 2012 Chevy Malibu was reported stolen at 12:01 p.m. at the intersection of Ramsell and Shields streets.

An incident of two vehicles in a collision was reported at 11:41 p.m. at the intersection of Ocean and Harold avenues.

Monday, Jan. 6, 2020

Taraval Police Station officers responded to a report of a robbery at 2:23 p.m. at the intersection of 19th Avenue and Junipero Serra Boulevard. The victim had their cell phone stolen out of their hands while on Muni. The suspect fled the scene.

A license plate was reported stolen at 6:32 p.m. on the first block of Estero Avenue.

Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2020

Taraval Police Station officers responded to a report of a robbery at 7:52 p.m. at the intersection of Mt. Vernon Avenue and Louisburg Street. The victim reported that two juvenile suspects followed her on her way home and attempted to take her backpack and cell phone while she unlocked her door. One of the suspects punched her three times on her left cheek until a witness intervened and the suspects fled.

Taraval Police Station officers responded to a report of a burglary at 12:03 p.m. on the 800 block of Urbano Drive. The victim reported said she went on a walk with several children and returned to find the back door suspiciously opened. Officers arrived on the scene and located the suspect. After further investigation, the officers arrested the suspect.

A vehicle was reported burglarized at 9:18 a.m. on the 1100 block of Plymouth Avenue.

Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2020

An incident of unlawful entry was reported 9:27 a.m. on the 1000 block of Plymouth Avenue.

A person reported at 2:49 p.m. on the first block of Ralston Street that fraudulent charges were made on their credit card.

A vehicle was reported broken into at 2:00 a.m. at the intersection of Shields Street and Victoria Street.

Thursday, Jan. 9, 2020

Traffic Collision

An incident of two vehicles colliding was reported  at 3:42 p.m. at the intersection of Brotherhood Way and Lake Merced Boulevard.

An incident of two vehicles colliding was reported at 7:54 a.m. at the intersection of San Jose Avenue and Rice Street.

A vehicle was reported burglarized at 6:30 a.m. on the first block of Niantic Avenue.

A vehicle struck a pole on at 12:34 p.m. on the 1200 block of Ocean Avenue. The driver left the scene.
