Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration To Be Held Virtually
The neighborhood's annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration, usually held at Ward Recreation Center, will be held virtually this January.
The San Francisco Recreation and Park Department will hold its annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration virtually this January due to the pandemic.
There will be special guests, live music, awards and a special remembrance of Congressman John Lewis.
The event, now in its 37th year, is usually held at the Minnie & Lovie Ward Recreation Center.
