A bicyclist killed by a hit-and-run driver at Alemany Boulevard and Naglee Avenue on Nov. 17 has been identified.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner told The Light on Wednesday that the victim is 45-year-old Juan Paz.
San Francisco first responders found Paz at approximately 7 a.m. in the roadway and immediately declared him deceased.
Police arrested a suspect.
The death spurred the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition to issue a statement calling for safety improvements along Alemany Boulevard because the four-lane thoroughfare has been the site of many serious collisions.
