The incident involving an SUV with three occupants occurred around 8 a.m. on Monday morning.
San Francisco Police Department officers from Ingleside Station responded to a crash at the intersection of Geneva and San Jose avenues at 8 a.m. on Monday morning.
The occupants — a 58-year-old adult and two juveniles — suffered life-threatening and non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to the hospital, according to police.
An investigation is pending.
District 11 Supervisor Chyanne Chen said she is concerned about this intersection, along with several others along Geneva Avenue, such as the one at Louisberg Street and the Interstate 280 on and off ramps.
"We need to find a way to make sure that everybody can be safe," Chen said, adding that she will be spending time investigating the matter.
The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency said it would "need to review the crash details first to see what happened before making additional recommendations."
The transportation agency has studied the area and made a number of changes in recent years.
