Popular Korean food vendor Daeho Kalbijjim & Beef Soup inside H Mart's K-Town Food Hall temporarily closed in December, adding a second vacancy in the popular Korean grocer's food court.
"Due to unforeseen circumstances out of our control, we will be temporarily closed starting from 12/15/2025," a sign posted at the vendor's stall reads. "We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause while we work to relocate to a new location in the H Mart space."
Daeho Kalbijjim was recently recognized by the New York Times on a list of the best dishes in America. The South Korean restaurant chain has five Bay Area locations, three in the South Bay and two in San Francisco.
A request for comment from the chain's parent company was not returned by press time.
Da Pan Danny's Kitchen closed its stall in the food hall sometime in 2025.
A representative of H Mart's real estate team declined to provide a statement.
Daeho Kalbijjim will be opening as a full-service restaurant inside the supermarket's new wing, joining a Japanese arcade among other retailers.
The food hall still has the bakery Paris Baguette, Left Wing, Jeong's K-Food and Pak's Noodles.
