The greater Ingleside neighborhood is patrolled by police officers from both Taraval and Ingleside stations. The following summary is drawn from station crime blotters and may not include all reported incidents recorded between Sunday, Aug. 2 and Saturday, Aug. 8.

Sunday, Aug. 2, 2020

A vehicle was reported burglarized at 2:00 p.m. on the 300 block of Chester Avenue.

A vehicle was reported burglarized at 9:30 p.m. at the intersection of Majestic and Lakeview avenues.

A vehicle was reported burglarized at 12:00 a.m. on the 100 block of Santa Monica Way.

A 2008 Green Lexus RX350 was reported stolen at 3:14 p.m. on the 100 block of Lunado Way.

Monday, Aug. 3, 2020

No incidents reported.

Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2020

A forced-entry burglary was reported at 11:21 p.m. on the 300 block of Monticello Street.

An incident of items being stolen by a caregiver was reported at 3:40 p.m. on the first block of Upland Drive.

A collision involving two vehicles was reported at 11:05 a.m. at the intersection of Sagamore Street and Capitol Avenue.

Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2020

Taraval Station police officers responded to a report of a burglarized ambulance at 12:16 p.m. on the 200 block of Plymouth Avenue. The paramedics, who had been attending to a patient, found several items and the vehicle’s keys missing. The officers located and detained the suspect, who had an arrest warrant. The suspect was arrested.

A vehicle was reported burglarized at 1:00 a.m. on the 300 block of Victoria Street.

An incident of a vehicle colliding with property was reported at 9:46 a.m. at the intersection of Junipero Serra Boulevard and Palmetto Avenue.

Thursday, Aug. 6, 2020

Taraval Station police officers responded to a report of an incident of indecent exposure at 10:14 a.m. on the 600 block of Capitol Avenue. The victim said she had been exercising when she encountered a man near several bushes with his genitals exposed. Officers did not locate the suspect.

A silver 2004 Toyota Sienna was reported stolen at 6:14 p.m. on the 100 block of Brighton Avenue.

Friday, Aug. 7, 2020

Taraval Station police officers on patrol arrested a known suspect on an active arrest warrant at 1:19 p.m. at the intersection of Ocean and Capitol avenues.

An incident of vandalism to property was reported at 4:33 a.m. on the 400 block of Ramsell Street.

Saturday, Aug. 8 2020

Taraval Station police officers received a report of a person setting a bush on fire at 12:59 p.m. at the intersection of Alemany Boulevard and Crystal Street. The San Francisco Fire Department extinguished the fire.

A white 2002 Chevy Express was reported stolen at 2:56 p.m. on the first Sadowa Street.
