The greater Ingleside neighborhood is patrolled by police officers from both Taraval and Ingleside stations. The following summary is drawn from station crime blotters and may not include all reported incidents recorded between Sunday, July 5 and Saturday, July 11.

Sunday, July 5, 2020

Taraval Station police officers responded to a report of a robbery at 3:03 p.m. on the 600 block of Capitol Avenue. The victim said that while he and his family were playing soccer, he noticed the two suspects standing next to his backpack. One suspect took the backpack and started walking away. When the victim approached the suspects, one brandished a knife and left the scene with the backpack.

A catalytic converter was reported stolen from a vehicle at 5:00 p.m. at the intersection of Faxon and Holloway avenues.

Monday, July 6, 2020

A package was reported stolen at 8:00 p.m. at the intersection of San Jose Avenue and Alemany Boulevard.

A catalytic converter was reported stolen from a vehicle at 2:40 p.m. on the 2600 block of San Jose Avenue.

An incident of vandals breaking windows was reported at 3:02 a.m. on the 1900 block of Ocean Avenue.

An incident of vandalism was reported at 3:21 p.m. on the 200 block of Harold Avenue.

A silver 2009 Honda Civic was reported stolen at 8:34 p.m. from the 1400 block of Ocean Avenue.

A red 1997 Honda CRV was reported stolen at 10:18 p.m. from the intersection of Monticello Street and Holloway Avenue.

An unlawful-entry burglary was reported at 4:30 p.m. on the 200 block of Brighton Avenue.

An incident of vandalism to property was reported at 9:30 a.m. at the intersection of Ocean and Ashton avenues.

A white 2003 Chevy Silverado was reported stolen at 5:27 p.m. on the first block of Cedro Avenue

Taraval Station police officers responded to a report of a person looking into vehicles parked on the street at 12:24 p.m. on the 600 block of Dorado Terrace. Officers located the suspect, who had an arrest warrant, and made the arrest.

Thursday, July 9, 2020

An incident of “items stolen by family members” was reported at 5:33 p.m. on the 400 block of Orizaba Avenue.

An incident of package theft was reported at 12:00 p.m. on the 2100 block of Ocean Avenue.

Friday, July 10, 2020

A vehicle was reported vandalized at 1:00 a.m. at the intersection of Sagamore Street and Capitol Avenue.

A collision involving two vehicles was reported at 1:06 a.m. at the intersection of Farallones Street and Capitol Avenue.

Saturday, July 11, 2020

An incident of shoplifting with force was reported at 7:32 p.m. on the 1600 block of Ocean Avenue.

A vehicle was reported burglarized at 4:49 p.m. on the 900 block of Capitol Avenue.

A collision involving a vehicle and public property was reported at 12:14 a.m. on the 1500 block of Ocean Avenue.
