The greater Ingleside neighborhood is patrolled by both Taraval and Ingleside Police Stations. The following is drawn from station crime blotters and does not include all reported incidents.

Taraval Police Station officers on the 2000 block of Ocean Avenue observed a man near an open beer can at 9:42 a.m. The officers attempted to throw the can away but the man insisted it belonged to him. The officers discovered the man had an arrest warrant and arrested him.
Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2019
Taraval Police Station officers responded to a report of arson at 4:10 a.m. on the 00 block of Randolph Street. The witness told officers she had smelled smoke, investigated its source, and discovered that a vehicle outside her window was ablaze. The San Francisco Fire Department extinguished the fire.
Thursday, Dec. 26, 2019
Taraval Police Station officers responded to a report of battery at 1:50 p.m. on the 600 block of Capitol Avenue. The victim told officers he had been listening to music, late at night, in the park when a stranger approached him, started an argument and kicked his speaker, causing it damage. The victim was then punched twice in the shoulder and shoved.
A bicycle was reported at 10:12 a.m. on the 1400 block of Ocean Avenue.
Friday, Dec. 27, 2019
Ingleside Police Station officers were on routine patrol and spotted a suspicious vehicle parked on the 200 block of Judson Avenue at 12:30 a.m. Dispatch informed them that his vehicle, a White Hyundai, was reported stolen. With the help of four other officers, the driver was taken into custody. He was found to be in possession of a pipe used for smoking methamphetamine. He was booked and the vehicle was towed.
Broken windows were reported at 7:00 a.m. on the 200 block of Bright Street.

A 2019 white Ford Transit was reported stolen at 1:55 p.m. from the intersection of Alemany Boulevard and Sagamore Street.
A Civil Grand Jury report revealed that the Emergency Firefighting Water System does not cover all reaches of the city. Residents are fighting for equal protection.
