Ingleside Crime: Dagger-Toting Motorist Arrested, More

The greater Ingleside neighborhood is patrolled by police officers from both Taraval and Ingleside stations. The following summary is drawn from station crime blotters and may not include all reported incidents recorded between Sunday, Aug. 9 and Saturday, Aug. 15.

Sunday, Aug. 9, 2020

A blue 1999 Toyota Tacoma was reported stolen at 9:42 a.m. on the 700 block of Holloway Avenue.

A hit-and-run collision involving two vehicles was reported at 9:00 p.m. at the intersection of 19th Avenue and Sargent Street.

Monday, Aug. 10, 2020

Taraval Station police officers on patrol arrested a person, who was known to them, that had an active arrest warrant at 6:44 p.m. at the intersection of Brighton and Holloway avenues.

Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2020

Taraval Station police officers patrolling the 2700 block of San Jose Avenue observed a person at 7:50 p.m. known to have a suspended license driving a vehicle. The vehicle revealed that it had been reported stolen, according to a database search. The officers detained the person and found that they were carrying a dagger. The person was arrested.

An incident of a vandal breaking windows was reported at 1:46 p.m. on the 1400 block of Ocean Avenue.

A collision involving a vehicle and property was reported at 3:02 a.m. at the intersection of Junipero Serra Boulevard and 19th Avenue.

Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2020

A catalytic converter was reported stolen from a vehicle at 9:00 a.m. on the 300 block of San Benito Way.

An incident of vandalism to property was reported at 12:58 p.m. on the 1800 block of Ocean Avenue.

A black 2003 Acura TL was reported stolen at 1:00 p.m. on the first block of De Soto Street.

Thursday, Aug. 13, 2020

A gray 2006 Vespa Lx150 was reported stolen at 4:30 p.m. on the first block of Shields Street.

A hit-and-run collision involving two vehicles was reported 5:40 p.m. Sagamore Street and San Jose Avenue

A hit-and-run collision involving two vehicles was reported at 8:40 p.m. at the intersection of Kenwood Way and Keystone Street.

Friday, Aug. 14, 2020

A collision involving two vehicles was reported at 11:57 a.m. at the intersection of Grafton and Miramar avenues.

Saturday, Aug. 15, 2020

A vehicle was reported burglarized at 12:30 a.m. on the first block of Geneva Avenue.

A vehicle was reported burglarized at  2:00 a.m. on the 200 block of Minerva Street.

A maroon 1997 Honda Accord was reported stolen at 9:59 p.m. at the intersection of Montana Street and Capitol Avenue.
