INGLESIDE, San Francisco — The greater Ingleside neighborhood is patrolled by both Taraval and Ingleside Police Stations. The following is drawn from station crime blotters and does not include all reported incidents.
Sunday, Jan. 26, 2020
Items stolen from a gym locker were reported at 8:03 p.m. on the 1800 block of Ocean Avenue.
An incident of shoplifting was reported at 5:02 p.m. on the 1800 block of Ocean Avenue.
A green 1995 Honda Accord was reported stolen at 9:53 p.m. from the 500 block of Garfield Street.
Monday, Jan. 27, 2020
Taraval Police Station officers responded to a report of battery at 11:18 p.m. on the 1200 block of Ocean Avenue. The victim said he had been punched in the face but provided no further information.
Taraval Police Station officers responded to a report of a suspect who was in violation of a court order at 12:19 p.m. on the 100 block of Broad Street. Responding officers located and arrested the suspect. While being transported in a police vehicle, the suspect spat at the officers and defecated in the backseat.
A vehicle was reported burglarized at 5:41 p.m. on the 1600 block of Monterey Boulevard.
A collision of two vehicles was reported at 11:40 p.m. at the intersection of Alemany Boulevard and Brotherhood Way.
Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2020
A package was reported stolen at 12:00 a.m. from the 800 block of Grafton Avenue.
A vehicle was reported burglarized at 10:00 p.m. on the 900 block of Shields Street.
Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2020
Taraval Police Station officers responded to a report of a battery between two motorists at 5:52 a.m. at the intersection of 19th Avenue and Junipero Serra Boulevard. The victim told officers they got into an altercation after cutting off the suspect on I-280. The suspect opened the victim’s door and threw punches while brandishing a knife. Then the suspect vandalized the victim’s vehicle. Officers located and cited the suspect.

A report of a vehicle striking a property was reported at 3:01 a.m. on the 1100 block of Junipero Serra Boulevard.
Saturday, Feb. 1, 2020
A report of items stolen from a home on the first block of Miramar Avenue was made at 3:24 p.m.
A vehicle-to-vehicle collision was reported at 8:45 a.m. at the intersection of Holloway and Lee avenues.
