The greater Ingleside neighborhood is patrolled by police from both Taraval and Ingleside stations. The following summary is drawn from station crime blotters and does not include all reported incidents recorded between Sunday, June 21 and Saturday, June 27.

Sunday, June 21, 2020

A silver 2001 Acura Integra was reported stolen at 10:10 a.m. from the 300 block of Shields Street.

Monday, June 22, 2020

A bicycle was reported stolen at 4:00 p.m. on the 200 block of Thrift Street.

Tuesday, June 23, 2020

A bicycle was reported stolen at 3:02 p.m. on the 100 block of Brighton Avenue.

Wednesday, June 24, 2020

Taraval Station police officers responded to a report of a battery at 5:56 p.m. on the 300 block of Summit Street. The victim said he had been working in his garage when a vehicle suddenly drove up and blocked his driveway. The driver exited the vehicle and began smoking. The victim took a picture of the suspect’s license plate, which angered the suspect. The suspect then pushed the victim, broke the victim’s cell phone and walked away.

A license plate was reported stolen at 8:03 a.m. on the 300 block of Chester Avenue.

A vehicle was reported vandalized at 4:00 p.m. on the 1100 block of Ocean Avenue.

A vehicle was reported burglarized at 11:00 p.m. on the 400 block of Bright Street.

A vehicle was reported burglarized at 12:00 a.m. at the intersection of San Jose Avenue and Broad Street.

Thursday, June 25, 2020

A vehicle was reported burglarized at 3:07 p.m. on the 1800 block of Ocean Avenue.

Friday, June 26, 2020

A vehicle was reported vandalized at  9:00 p.m. at the intersection of Harold and Holloway avenues.

A vehicle was reported burglarized at 8:55 p.m. on the 200 block of Ralston Street.

Saturday, June 27, 2020

Taraval Station police officers conducting speed enforcement measures at the intersection of 19th and Holloway avenues at 9:25 p.m. observed a vehicle traveling 50 miles per hour in a 35 miles per hour zone. The vehicle was stopped and the driver was cited for operating a vehicle without a driver’s license.

An incident of theft at a business was reported at 4:17 a.m. on the 1900 block of Ocean Avenue.

A vehicle was reported burglarized at 12:00 a.m. on the 3900 block of Alemany Boulevard.

A vehicle was reported burglarized at 12:54 a.m. on the 300 block of Chester Avenue.
