INGLESIDE, San Francisco — The greater Ingleside neighborhood is patrolled by both Taraval and Ingleside Police Stations. The following is drawn from station crime blotters and does not include all reported incidents.
Sunday, Feb. 9, 2020
Taraval Police Station officers responded to a report of a suspect setting a vehicle on fire at 9:42 p.m. at the intersection of San Jose and Mt. Vernon avenues. The witness said the suspect set fire to something and threw it into a vehicle. Officers determined that the owner of the vehicle had attempted to set his car on fire and arrested him.
A collision involving two vehicles was reported at 5:54 p.m. at the intersection of Capitol Avenue and Farallones Street.
Monday, Feb. 10, 2020
Taraval Police Station officers responded to a report of a battery at 4:26 p.m. at the intersection of Ocean and Capitol avenues. The victim said he had been crossing the street when the suspect, who was muttering to himself, threw an unknown object at the victim. Officers located the suspect and issued a citation.

A forced-entry burglary was reported at 7:30 a.m. on the 1900 block of Ocean Avenue.
Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2020
Taraval Police Station officers responded to a report of a stabbing at 12:26 a.m. on the first block of Randolph Street. A person was stabbed while trying to break up a fight between his brother, the suspect, and mother. The suspect fled the area.
A forced-entry burglary was reported at 11:45 a.m. on the 1200 block of Ocean Avenue.

A vehicle was reported vandalized at 6:30 p.m. on the 200 block of Chester Avenue.
A white 2005 Chevy Express was reported stolen at 7:50 a.m. on the 300 block of Sargent Street.

Friday, Feb. 14, 2020
Taraval Police Station officers responded to a report of a battery at 5:15 p.m. on the 1900 block of Ocean Avenue. The victim said that he had double parked to pick up an order at a restaurant when the suspect began yelling at him and then punched him. Officers found the suspect and cited him.
A vehicle was reported burglarized at 2:00 p.m. on the 100 block of Aptos Avenue.
A vehicle was reported burglarized at 6:00 p.m. on the first block of Borica Street.
Saturday, Feb. 15, 2020
Taraval Police Station officers responded to a report of a robbery at 12:42 p.m. on the 600 block of Holloway Avenue. The victim, who was at a house party, said he had been dancing when three suspects approached him, punched and kicked him and made off with his property.
