The greater Ingleside neighborhood is patrolled by police officers from both Taraval and Ingleside stations. The following summary is drawn from station crime blotters and may not include all reported incidents recorded between Sunday, July 19 and Saturday, July 25.

Sunday, July 19, 2020

Taraval Station police officers responded to a report of a robbery at 11:09 a.m. on the 100 block of Broad Street. The victim said that while carrying a basket of laundry home the suspect suddenly approached and demanded the victim’s money. The suspect then assaulted the victim, stole the victim’s hat and immediately fled.

A license plate was reported stolen at 10:08 p.m. at the intersection of Lakeview and Lee avenues.

The theft of a catalytic converter was reported at 8:00 a.m. on the 200 block of Montana Street.

A motorcyclist was charged for driving under the influence after a collision reported at 7:15 p.m. at the intersection of 19th Avenue and Junipero Serra Boulevard.

An incident in which a vehicle struck a house was reported at 1:18 p.m. at the intersection of Granada and Grafton avenues.

Thursday, July 23, 2020

A forced-entry burglary was reported at 3:46 a.m. on the 3000 block of San Jose Avenue.

The theft of a catalytic converter was reported at 12:00 a.m. on the 100 block of Lunado Way.

Taraval Station police officers arrested an individual who vandalized a vehicle around 9:00 p.m. on the 200 block of Head Street.

A vehicle was reported vandalized at 3:00p.m. on the 100 block of Lobos Street.

A vehicle was reported burglarized at 11:00 p.m. on the 200 block of Beverly Street.

A collision involving two vehicles was reported at 1:40 a.m. at the intersection of Alemany Boulevard and Arch Street. An arrest was made for driving under the influence.

Friday, July 24, 2020

Taraval Station police officers responded to a report of gunshots at 3:45 p.m. at the intersection of Randolph and Vernon streets. They found several spent casings on the street and fresh bullet holes on the side of a house. The tenant said she had heard the sound of gunshots and observed a car driving away. Another tenant also reported hearing popping and the sound of glass breaking.

A hit-and-run collision involving two vehicles was reported at 2:30 a.m. on Borica Street.

Saturday, July 25, 2020

A forced-entry burglary was reported at 9:56 p.m. on the 200 block of Sadowa Street.

A forced-entry burglary was reported at 11:40 a.m. on the 300 block of Ashton Avenue.

The theft of a catalytic converter stolen from a vehicle was reported at 9:00 p.m. on the first block of Aptos Avenue.
