The greater Ingleside neighborhood is patrolled by police officers from both Taraval and Ingleside stations. The following summary is drawn from station crime blotters and may not include all reported incidents recorded between Sunday, Sept. 20 and Saturday, Sept. 26.

Sunday, Sept. 20, 2020

No incidents reported.

Monday, Sept. 21, 2020

Taraval Station police officers on patrol heard a large group of motorists gathering at the intersection of Plymouth Avenue and Sadowa Street at 12:07 a.m. Approximately 50 drivers had blocked off the intersection with vehicles as other drivers did stunts. Additional officers joined the officers to monitor the situation, but the group dispersed without incident.

An incident of check fraud was reported at 2:05 p.m. on the 100 block of Miramar Avenue.

A vehicle was reported burglarized at 10:30 a.m. on the 3900 block of Alemany Boulevard.

A hit-and-run involving two vehicles was reported at 7:08 p.m. at the intersection of Junipero Serra Boulevard and Ocean Avenue.

Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2020

Taraval Station police officers responded to a report of a battery at 7:33 p.m. on the 200 block of Brighton Avenue. The victim said he had been showing the suspect, his mother, their finances when she became upset and punched him multiple times. The victim then left the premises.

An incident of credit card fraud was reported at 3:07 p.m. on the 200 block of Moncada Way.

A hit-and-run collision involving two vehicles was reported at 10:30 a.m. at the intersection of Ocean and Cerritos avenues.

A collision involving two vehicles was reported at 12:13 p.m. at the intersection of Capitol and De Montfort avenues.

Friday, Sept. 25, 2020

An incident of vehicle being vandalized was reported at 10:00 p.m. on the 100 block of De Montfort Avenue.

Saturday, Sept. 26, 2020

A silver 2007 Toyota TC was reported stolen at 12:57 a.m. on the 700 block of Geneva Avenue.

A hit-and-run collision involving a traffic signal and a vehicle was reported at 12:12 a.m. at the intersection of Geneva and Ocean avenues.
