Sunday, June 28, 2020

Taraval Station police officers responded to a report of a burglary in progress at 11:07 p.m. on the 1200 block of Capitol Avenue. The witness said she had heard suspicious noises from a neighbor’s apartment and saw a person forcing its front door open. Officers searched the apartment and located the person. They found the person was on probation and made the arrest.

A vehicle was reported burglarized at 1:18 p.m. on the 200 block of Shields Street.

A hit-and-run collision involving a vehicle and unidentified property was reported at 2:00 p.m. at the intersection of Ocean and Jules avenues.

Monday, June 29, 2020

Taraval Station police officers responded to a report of an incident of battery at 5:55 p.m. on the 1800 block of Ocean Avenue. The victim said she had an argument with an acquaintance, felt threatened and withdrew her taser. The acquaintance pepper sprayed her and departed the scene.

An incident of shoplifting was reported at 11:45 a.m. on the 1600 block of Ocean Avenue.

A vehicle was reported vandalized at 10:00 p.m. at the intersection of Ocean and Miramar avenues.

A vehicle was reported burglarized at 12:39 p.m. on the 100 block of Monticello Street.

Wednesday, July 1, 2020

An electric bicycle was reported stolen at 7:00 a.m. on the 200 block of Thrift Street.

Thursday, July 2, 2020

Taraval Station police officers responded to a report of a vehicle collision at 12:20 a.m.

At the intersection of Beverly and Garfield streets. Officers made contact with the driver of the vehicle, who was incoherent. The driver exited the vehicle, failed multiple sobriety tests and was arrested for driving under the influence.

A vehicle was reported burglarized at 12:00 a.m. on the first block of Byxbee Street.

A gray 2015 Honda CRV was reported stolen at 12:00 a.m. on the first block of Byxbee Street.

A collision involving three vehicles was reported stolen at 12:18 a.m. at the intersection of Garfield and Beverly streets.

Friday, July 3, 2020

A package was reported stolen at 12:00 p.m. at the intersection of Bright and Randolph streets.

A hit-and-run collision involving two vehicles was reported at 9:00 a.m. on Lunado Way.

Saturday, July 4, 2020

A vehicle was reported burglarized at 6:00 p.m. at the intersection of Josiah and Lakeview avenues.
