Ingleside Crime: Unlicensed Motorist Cited, Motorcycle Collides With Vehicle And More

INGLESIDE, San Francisco — The greater Ingleside neighborhood is patrolled by both Taraval and Ingleside Police Stations. The following is drawn from station crime blotters and does not include all reported incidents.

Sunday, Feb. 16, 2020

Taraval Police Station officers on patrol observed a motorist talking on a phone at 8:10 a.m. at the intersection of Brotherhood Way and Sagamore Street. They pulled over the motorist and a computer check revealed that the driver’s license had been suspended. The driver was cited.

Monday, Feb. 17, 2020

A vehicle was reported vandalized at 9:55 a.m. at the intersection of Lakeview and Lee avenues.

A vehicle was reported burglarized at 9:23 p.m. on the 200 block of Sagamore Street.

Traffic Collision

A hit-and-run collision involving two vehicles was reported at 6:35 p.m. at the intersection of Dorado Terrace and Ocean Avenue.

Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2020

Taraval Police Station officers responded to a report of a vehicle parked in a traffic lane at 6:15 p.m. at the intersection of Holloway and Lee avenues. The motorist, who said he had stopped to look for an address, was found to never have been issued a driver’s license. The driver was cited.

An incident of theft from a gym locker was reported at 1:00 p.m. on the 1800 block of Ocean Avenue.

A gray 2011 Mercedes E350 was reported stolen at 10:23 a.m. on the 600 block of Holloway Avenue.

A collision involving two vehicles was reported at 7:44 a.m. at the intersection of Thrift Street and Faxon Avenue.

Friday, Feb. 21, 2020

A collision involving a vehicle and a motorcycle was reported at 11:50 a.m. at the intersection of Ocean and Brighton avenues.

A hit-and-run collision involving two vehicles was reported at 6:45 a.m. at the intersection of Monticello and Sargent Streets.

Saturday, Feb. 22, 2020

A vehicle was reported burglarized at 1:00 p.m. on the 1600 block of Ocean Avenue.
