Pinkie Nails Opens On Ocean Avenue's Lakeside Village

The salon offers basic and deluxe manicures and pedicures, massages and waxing services.

Pinkie Nails has opened on Lakeside Village’s stretch of Ocean Avenue.

The team at the salon is close-knit, having moved together from one in South San Francisco, manager Angie Vu said. The new shop also took over the former Lake Side Nails Bar location and opened in February.

“I think so far so good,” Vu said about opening in the neighborhood. “The people around here are so nice.”

The inside of the salon has also been given a major upgrade with a fresh coat of white paint and wooden vertical panels, low-hanging pendant lights, six beige and black-toned pedicure chairs, two manicure stations, and a wall of nail polish on display.

Services available include three types of manicures, including basic for $30, gel for $40, and deluxe for $50, and three types of pedicures,s including basic for $40, gel for $55, and deluxe for $70. Their deluxe pedicure package also includes a hot stone, hot wax, and callus treatment and a 10-minute massage.

Builder/hard gel, dips and fills for nails are priced at $60-plus, and full sets and gel extensions are priced at $70-plus. Nail designs are all set at $15-plus and include styles like French tip, chrome, cat-eye and ombre.

Other nail services include paraffin wax treatments, callus removal, and 10-minute massages for $15, a change of color for $20-plus, and gel removal for $25-plus. In addition, the business offers eyelash and waxing services.

“We are so happy to welcome Pinkie Nails to Lakeside Village,” Friends of Lakeside Village’s Kath Tsakalakis said. “Angie and her team are very friendly, and I was thrilled with my own manicure and pedicure last week before going away on vacation.”

The team at Pinkie Nails takes the time to get to know each customer, and Tsakalakis said Vu and her team are already community-minded and have offered vouchers for the neighborhood’s next event.

“We try our best to take care of the customer,” Vu said.
