Police Make Arrest in Ocean View Homicide

Police arrested a suspect in the shooting death of a man at the intersection of San Jose and Plymouth avenues.

The San Francisco Police Department Homicide Detail identified 46-year-old Christopher Kyle Marsh as the killer of a man in Ocean View last week.

The incident occurred around the area of San Jose and Plymouth avenues on Dec. 13 after 2 a.m. Once police officers from Taraval Station arrived at the scene, they found an unresponsive adult male with apparent gunshot wounds. They administered medical aid and called paramedics. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police officers from Ingleside Station located Marsh on the 5500 block of Mission Street on Thursday, Dec. 14, according to a news release. Marsh was placed under arrest for the murder, possessing methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia and for two outstanding arrest warrants out of San Mateo County.

Despite the arrest, the case remains an open and active investigation, according to police.
