Science, technology, engineering and mathematics — known collectively as STEM — will be the focus of a family friendly festival this Saturday held at City College of San Francisco.

The second annual STEM Frenzy will have STEM-based, hands-on activities and demonstrations for children, families, educators and the community led by STEM-based organizations along with raffles, prizes and more, according to an announcement.

The first edition of the OMI STEM Frenzy Science and Career Festival was held on Lee Avenue in front of Beep's Burgers in October.

The event is organized by the San Francisco African American Early Childhood Educators, the Dream Keeper Initiative and Good Rural.

The festival is free and open to the public. All COVID-19 precautions will be observed.
