The Ingleside Light Wins San Francisco Press Club Awards

The Ingleside Light made some news of its own this week.

The team was honored for its work at the San Francisco Press Club’s 48th Greater Bay Area Journalism Awards.

Reporter Anne Marie Kristoff won second place in the Columns/Features category for her work telling the stories of Inglesiders in Everyday People, and The Ingleside Light placed second in Overall Excellence: Best Community News Website.

The Light's Founder Wins Awards

The Light's founder and editor, Alex Mullaney, beat out Politico and Reuters for first place in the Business/Technology Story Large Newsroom category for his work uncovering exploitation on the city's streets. He also placed second in the Criminal Justice Large Newsroom category for a story about a fireman accused of arson.
