A body was discovered on the trackway near Balboa Park BART Station just after midnight on Monday.
"An unidentified male adult was located near the M1 track, 14.3," according to BART Police's log. "No foul play is suspected."
The body was turned over to the San Francisco Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
BART closed the station and trains did not stop at the station when the system opened for service around 4:30 a.m., announcements shared on social media show.
