San Francisco authorities recovered a body on a residential street after 6 a.m. on Thursday.
San Francisco Fire Department personnel received a call at 6:23 a.m. Upon responding to the scene, firefighters and paramedics located a man outside.
"SFFD Engine and SFFD paramedic ambulance assessed the person," a fire department spokesperson said. "The person was declared deceased, and the office of the medical examiner was called to the scene."
San Francisco Police Department personnel arrived on scene moments later and conferred with fire department and Office of the Chief Medical Examiner personnel.
SFPD told The Ingleside Light that the medical examiner personnel "advised there were no signs of foul play or suspicious occurrence at this time."
A spokesperson for the medical examiner said the "investigation is ongoing, so we cannot share additional details at this time."
