BART's 16th Street/Mission, 24th Street/Mission, Glen Park and Balboa Park stations now have free Wi-Fi, the transit agency announced.

โ€œProviding high-quality Wi-Fi is part of our commitment to meeting the evolving needs of our riders and enhancing the customer experience through reliable connectivity," BARTโ€™s Assistant General Manager of Technology Ravi Misra said in a statement.

BART first installed Wi-Fi at the San Francisco International Airport, West Oakland, Embarcadero, Civic Center and Powell Street stations in February in a partnership with Boldyn Networks.

โ€œBoldyn partnered with us to deliver this second phase of upgrades as the region prepares to host the FIFA World Cup, with additional improvements coming in the months and years ahead," Misra said.

Riders can join the network named โ€œBART Wi-Fiโ€ with no password or email required to access 20-minute sessions. Users must confirm they are still actively using the Wi-Fi after the 20-minute session ends.

All remaining stations are expected to be equipped with Wi-Fi in early 2028.
