The Ingleside Terraces Homes Association has postponed its annual residence park-wide garage sale due to the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic.

Colleen Carrigan, a member of ITHA’s social committee, said the April 23 event where a number of the 750 homes in the historic Ingleside Terraces open their garages to sell items has been postponed by the shelter-in-place public health order.

“We usually hold this in either April or September as those tend to be the months with less rainfall,” Carrigan told The Light. “We’re hoping to reschedule it for September.”

“We don’t raise any funds for this event technically. We do ask Ingleside Terraces neighbors that do open their garage doors for the sale to give $20 toward the event.”
