Monthly Balboa Park Volunteer Work Party This Sunday

The San Francisco Recreation and Parks Department gardeners and the Friends of Balboa Park for a volunteer work party this Sunday focused on horticultural maintenance. Expect to weed, mulch, dig, plant, rake, sweep and pick up litter.

Volunteers are directed to wear closed-toed shoes and dress in layers. The event will take place rain or shine. Meet at the children's play area near the public restrooms located on Sgt. John V. Young Lane.
